A Letter to Seattle:
I love everything your beautiful city, and nearby towns, and forests provide. We are all lucky to live here and be minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city on one side, and minutes away from the calm always flooded countryside. I love being able to see so much green everywhere, and I honestly love the rain you share with us. I am, however, disappointed in your decision to refrain from snowing more this year. I appreciate that you provided us with a white thanksgiving, but for it to be 50 degrees and sunny in December is a bit ridiculous don’t you think? Last winter we endured your 50 degree rainy weather all except for one lousy week when it was a brisk 10 degrees and sunny. I feel that we have earned at least another snow day, if not more 🙂 You’ll know that after living here for 8 years this is the first time I have asked you a favor. I don’t whine and complain when it rains like most, and I certainly don’t complain when it hits the 90’s in the summer. All I am asking you for is another (serious) dusting of snow, it can’t be that hard can it?
