Tonight I made Homemade Chili. This recipe didn’t come from any website, I did call my mom for some advice, but thats about it, so I’m REALLY truly proud of this one, and am happy to share it with all of you! Maybe next time I’ll snap a better photo!
Home Cooked Chili(photo taken with my cell phone, sorry!)
1lb (or more depending) ground beef
2 Cans of Dark Red Kidney Beans
1/2 cup diced onion
1 can of tomato sauce, not tomato paste
1 can steamed diced tomatoes
In a skillet, cook onion & brown the beef, drain.
In a large pot, mix the full cans of kidney beans (juices and all), diced tomatos, tomato paste and cooked beef & onion. Cook on Medium (or low depending when you’re planning on eating) add chili powder to taste! This is a HUGE hit here, and at work, everyone LOVES it! Bonus, it’s easy!
