25 is the new 24.

For me at least 🙂

I’ve been 25 for 2 days, and it’s been awesome! We were supposed to have company this weekend, and show them around Seattle, buuut they decided last minute they didn’t want to come, so we altered our plans a bit. I have to say so far, we have had a FANTASTIC weekend. YAY weekends!

Thursday was my birthday, work was well work haha. The kids and I packed up some boxes of un-used toys, played outside a bit, and went to Starbucks. At Starbucks my little Monster decided he was going to sing happy birthday to me, HIGHLIGHT of my day. Nothing is sweeter than a 4 year old singing happy birthday, with his 1 year old sister repeating “HAPPY KEE HAPPY KEE” it really was delightful.

Then that evening we had reservations at Lot No. 3 in Bellevue. Otherwise known as the “Man Cave.” A bunch of people came and we had a blast. If you’re ever in Bellevue Lot No. 3 is the greatest! Candied Bacon? Uh yes please. Delicious popcorn? SUPER yes. Waffles? YUM. Chicken and Waffles, Idk i didn’t try it haha. Peanut Butter, Jelly and Bacon. YES (don’t order it anymore though, its $4 and you get one TINY slider. sooo not worth it.) Grilled Cheese with home made tomato soup and home made chips? Best birthday dinner ever.

Great friends made the evening amazing. Then last night we kicked off SeaFair weekend with a game of Cards against Humanity (Which I got in my last Reddit Gift Exchange.)

I’ll fill you in on the rest of this weekend tomorrow or Monday. For now? PHOTOS.

Getting ready to leave!

Will! I met him about 5 or 6 years ago at the midnight showing of Harry Potter and either Order of the Phoenix or Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I don’t remember which one it was, but it was AGES ago. He’s great!

Thomas! I’ve known him for 10 years? He’s a great best friend (sorta…lol) we love him!

Ahh Mini-Golf!

Last weekend EverSoLightly and I went down to the local golf course, and played some Miniature Golf! It was a beautiful WARM Sunny Seattle day, and the place was pretty busy, but it was SO MUCH fun! Next time my nephews are in town (this weekend :D) We’re going to take them! So watch for our adventure post! For now, settle for some cute ESL KK photos 😀

Alright now time to go finish up dinner (yummy lamb!) and get ready for bed so I can watch my guilty pleasure show, Teen Mom. 😀 Don’t worry, expect another post this week!

I have decided…

That even if this means I can’t do anything else exciting this year, I want to go to the beach with my brother and his wonderful mateys, our Mom, and EverSoLightly (wordpress won’t let me link to his blog right now). After watching , and looking at photos from the time we went for my 21st birthday makes me want to re-live the amazing time we had.

I truly am blessed to have them in my life, I love my family so much and am so proud of how far we all have come over the past years. Watching the end of that video “I love you, C…” “You too!” “I love you, C” “You too” I love you, Collin” “You too.” Reminded me of our most recent visit to see them, we walked in the door and the first person to greet us was Q… then right as G was about to hug me C pushed his way in and tackled me. So the first thing I said “You love me” his response? “nope!” Later that day I went into the younger boys’ room and saw this

on C’s desk. He walked in right as I was looking at the photo smiled at me and I said “SEE! YOU DO LOVE ME! You have a photo of us on your desk!” his response? “No, I just don’t get to see you that often…” HA kid! I knew it! It’s okay – your secret is safe with me 🙂
